LICareers.com does not collect, provide, rent, sell, or disclose email addresses to any 3rd-party. LICareers.com does not provide nor disclose inform- ation about it`s visitors, users or posters to anyone, except as may be compelled or required by a court order or warrant. ALL information posted by users on this site must be considered to be PUBLIC, as all user-posted info is accessable to anyone. The use of common-sense and discretion is advised, and is especially relevant for resume-posters;) If you do not want your REAL name posted and made available to the general web- surfing public, use "candidate" or "job-seeker" or some other generic term, or just use your initials. If you do not want your phone number posted, then, by all means, OMIT it when you post. If you do not want your REAL e-mail address to be shown, get a free web-based email account. For resume posters in *particular*, your degree of privacy is in your OWN hands....if you post personally-identifiable inform- ation about yourself, you must realize that your CURRENT employer has access to your post, too!;-) You need not post your physical address nor even your mailing address if you don`t want to, in fact, I recommend you DON`T include that inform- ation in your post....a web-based email address should be sufficient for a potential employer to make first contact. Do NOT post your date-of-birth or your social-security number!!! These details may be OK on a paper-resume or employment application that is sent directly to an employer, but it is FOOLISH to post on the `Net! LICareers.com has in place, a site-statistics tracker that reveals where the visitor came-from(If referred by another page), ISP, time, choice of browser, screen-resolution, color-depth, and wether java is enabled or not. Your email address is NOT recorded while you are browsing the site! The database provider, Jobvertise.com, is a third- party not under the control of LICareers.com. Consult jobvertise website for their privacy policy. While soeren@licareers.com will try to treat each email as a private message, no *expectation of privacy* can be absolutely-assured, and thus, none is given. |
